Possible Impacts to Afternoon Commute in Downtown Hartford Friday, April 15
As a result of the anticipated heavy traffic and possible detours associated with the Trump campaign event at the CT Convention Center Friday April 15, CTtransit will be shortening the service day for the free dash shuttle, and the last trip on Friday will depart the Convention Center at 2:45pm. No dash shuttle service will operate after that on April 15th.
The 30-Bradley Flyer route will serve its scheduled stop at 3:15pm at the Convention Center. 30-Bradley Flyer trips for the remainder of the service day on Friday will NOT serve the Convention Center. After the 3:15pm trip, the closest stop for customers wishing to use the 30-Bradley Flyer will be Central Row (south side).
Afternoon Trips (any trip departing after 3:00pm) on the Express routes 901, 902, 909, and 912 will not serve the bus stop on Columbus Boulevard by the Convention Center. Customers are advised to use the bus stop for these routes on the north side of Central Row (Old State House side). The noontime departures for these routes will operate to the scheduled bus stops.
Other traffic impacts or the need for temporary detours as directed by public safety officials will be adjusted to as needed.
Customers should anticipate delays in their commute on Friday afternoon. We apologize in advance for any inconvenience, and appreciate our customers' patience as we adjust routes.
