CTtransit and CTfastrak 31-Day Bus Passes Available for Purchase on Smartphones

The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) today announced that CTtransit and CTfastrak customers can purchase their 31-day pass on their smartphones beginning Friday, September 1, 2023, through Token Transit.
From Roads to Sidewalks, Big Improvements on the Way
Two infrastructure improvements are underway that will directly enhance the experience of our customers and our Professional Bus Operators. While construction may bring temporary disruptions, these upgrades are designed to create a safer, more accessible, and more comfortable environment for everyone.
Current projects include:
- Milling and Pavement Project – Guideway (full length): Addresses surface deterioration that affects ride quality, on-time performance, and fleet maintenance. Customers will notice the difference immediately.
- Travelers and Main Sidewalk Project - Addresses longstanding surface conditions, brings the corridor into full ADA compliance, and directly improves safety for the customers who depend on it most.
We recognize that construction can be inconvenient and are working to minimize any disruptions as much as possible. Once completed, these improvements will support better service conditions for customers and safer operating environments for our Professional Bus Operators.
