Local bus routes provide reliable neighborhood connections to city centers, stopping every 2-3 blocks on city streets, at malls, at hospitals, at shopping centers, and much more.
Express bus routes provide long-distance services linking cities and communities with minimal stops, operating primarily weekdays with zone-based fares.
CTtransit operates Connecticut's first Bus Rapid Transit system. Buses use a dedicated roadway for all or part of the route, promoting efficiency and streamlined service.
