CTtransit en las áreas metropolitanas de Hartford, New Haven y Stamford
CTtransit Hartford opera en más de 30 rutas locales y 13 rutas de autobuses expreso. Muchas rutas locales operan 7 días a la semana y prestan su servicio en 26 ciudades en la región de la capital. El servicio expreso opera principalmente los días laborales únicamente. Tiene un servicio de 7 días a la semana en las rutas expreso 913 y 928. CTtransit Hartford permite realizar conexiones con CTfastrak, Middletown Area Transit y CTtransit New Britain.
CTtransit New Haven opera en más de 22 rutas locales. Muchas rutas operan 7 días a la semana y se conectan con otros servicios de autobús subsidiados o estatales en Meriden, Waterbury, Wallingford, Milford y las áreas bajas de Naugatuck Valley, así como también con los servicios de ferrocarril de New Haven Line y Shore Line East.
CTtransit Stamford opera en 15 rutas de autobús locales. Muchas rutas operan los 7 días de la semana. Los autobuses de CTtransit Stamford se conectan con otros servicios subsidiados por el estado en Norwalk, con la línea de New Haven en varios sitios, con la línea de Harlem en el ferrocarril Metro-North y con los autobuses de Bee-Line en Westchester County, New York. CTtransit Stamford también opera I-Bus, un servicio expreso entre el centro urbano de Stamford y White Plains, New York.
CTfastrak conecta a las comunidades de Central Connecticut
El sistema CTfastrak brinda servicio directo desde y hacia Waterbury, Cheshire, Southington, Bristol, Plainville, New Britain, Newington, West Hartford, Hartford y Manchester, con rutas que aprovechan el carril exclusivo de autobuses CTfastrak. El sistema CTfastrak brinda un viaje en un mismo asiento, sin transbordo, a muchos de los más importantes destinos laborales, de compras y de atención de la salud de la región, así como conexiones entre la Línea de New Haven y el ramal del ferrocarril de Waterbury en Waterbury, y con el servicio de Amtrak en Hartford. La mayoría de las rutas de autobús de CTfastrak operan los días laborales de 5:00am hasta la medianoche; los sábados de 6:00am hasta la medianoche y los domingos y feriados de 8:00am a 8:00pm.
CTtransit Waterbury
La División de Waterbury opera en una ruta fija y brinda los servicios Paratransit de la Ley para Estadounidenses con Discapacidades (ADA) en el área de Waterbury por medio de un contrato con Northeast Transportation Company. Se brinda servicio a Waterbury, Watertown y Naugatuck de lunes a sábados, y algún servicio los domingos en el área metropolitana de Waterbury.
CTtransit New Britain y Bristol
New Britain Transportation Company opera 10 rutas de autobús en Berlin, New Britain, Cromwell, Newington, Plainville, Bristol y Meriden. El servicio de autobuses con ruta fija opera siete días a la semana. CTtransit New Britain permite realizar conexiones con CTfastrak, Middletown Area Transit, CTtransit Meriden y CTtransit Hartford.
DATTCO también opera un servicio de ruta fija siete días a la semana en New Britain en las rutas East Street y South Street, y partes de la ruta 41-Hartford/New Britain.
CTtransit Meriden y Wallingford
CTtransit Meriden y Wallingford operan servicios de rutas fijas en sus respectivas áreas mediante un contrato con Northeast Transportation Company, con cuatro rutas locales. Las conexiones se realizan en Wallingford y Meriden con CTtransit New Haven y también en Meriden con Middletown Area Transit. El servicio de Meriden opera de lunes a viernes, con servicio los sábados en algunas rutas. El servicio de Wallingford opera únicamente los días laborales.
Servicio expreso para viajeros diarios hacia Hartford
Las rutas expreso operan los días laborales en horas pico, principalmente entre las playas de estacionamiento park & ride de las afueras y el centro urbano de Hartford.

Opera con autobuses con la "marca" Peter Pan. Servicio desde: Willimantic, Mansfield, Columbia, Andover, Coventry, Bolton . Servicio entre Hartford y New Haven (ruta expreso 950).

Connecticut Receives $38.9 Million Grant from Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to Upgrade CT fastrak to All-Electric Fleet

CT transit is excited to share that Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) recently announced a $38.9 million Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant to help convert our CT fastrak to an all-electric bus fleet.
“This significant investment showcases our commitment to sustainable transportation and underscores our dedication to fostering skilled professionals for the future,” said Thomas E. This significant grant, awarded through the FTA's Low or No Emission Grant Program, will facilitate the purchase or lease of zero-emission transit buses and the necessary facility upgrades.
CT transit will use these funds to acquire 46 battery-electric buses and install 29 chargers for the fastrak bus rapid transit service. The grant will also cover the cost of installing 25 depot chargers at the Hartford facility, four on-route chargers at the CT fastrak New Britain Station, and the required electrical infrastructure. This initiative is backed by over $17 million in matching state funds and $30 million from federal formula funds.
This milestone represents a monumental leap towards Governor Lamont's objective of transitioning the entire statewide public transportation bus fleet from diesel to zero-emission models by 2035. It's a testament to our collective commitment and the potential for a greener future.

Around $5.6 billion in funding has been allocated through President Joe Biden’s recently enacted Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support the replacement of thousands of public transit vehicles nationwide.

CT fastrak was recently recognized as the best bus rapid transit system in the United States by the Institute for Transportation and Development Policy.
