TAKE NOTE: Valued customers, due to milling and paving work along the CTfastrak guideway, a portion of the guideway between Oakwood Avenue and Newington Junction Station will be closed. As a result, Routes 101, 102, 121, 125, 923, and 928 will be required to detour during construction.

This 24/7 closure will begin at 4:00 a.m. on Monday, August 24, 2026, and will remain in effect for approximately 6 weeks, or until work is completed. Please check back regularly for the latest updates.

Detour Information

Routes 101, 102, 121, 125, 923, and 928 will operate on detour while the guideway is closed between Oakwood Avenue and Newington Junction Station.

Sigourney Street Station

• Routes 923 and 928 traveling outbound to Bristol and Waterbury will pick up on Hawthorn Street, across the street from the station.
• All other buses serving Sigourney Street Station will pick up and drop off at their regular stops.

Elmwood Station

• Routes 101, 102, 121, and 125 traveling inbound to Hartford will stop in the bus cut-out on New Park Avenue in front of the station.
• Routes 101, 102, 121, 125, and 128 traveling outbound from Hartford will stop on New Park Avenue, across the street from the station.

Newington Junction Station

• Route 125 traveling inbound to Hartford will stop in the bus cut-out on Willard Avenue in front of the station.
• Route 125 traveling outbound to the Berlin Turnpike will stop in the bus cut-out on Willard Avenue, across the street from the station.
• All other buses serving Newington Junction Station will pick up and drop off at their regular stops.

Expected Delays

• Customers should anticipate possible construction-related service delays on Routes 101, 102, 121, 125, 923, and 928.
• Customers are encouraged to allow additional travel time whenever possible.

Please note: Buses will not make any stops along the detour route except at designated CTfastrak stations.
