Express Services
Most Express routes operate on a weekday schedule between suburban Park & Ride lots and downtown Hartford. Some Express routes operate 7 days a week. Express fares are based on the number of zones traveled, beginning with the minimum fare at 2 zones, the maximum fare is for 5 zones. Express
Effective 8/22/2021, three connector routes: the AH – Asylum Hill Connector, the CB – Columbus Blvd. Connector and the SC – State Capitol Connector will now operate on weekday mornings & afternoons. Routes AH, CB & SC are FREE services designed to connect bus & rail customers with employment destinations in or near the downtown area.
Weekday service (no service Saturday or Sunday).

Some trips on Route 906 to the Cromwell Park & Ride will be replaced by trips on Route 919. Service to Cromwell Hills will continue to be provided on a part-time basis.
Due to a roadway configuration change at the University of Hartford, the on-campus bus stop will remain closed indefinitely. Customers traveling to the University of Hartford should alight from Route 912 at the posted bus stop on Bloomfield Avenue near the Catholic Campus Ministry Center.
921 Middletown/Old Saybrook Express will resume service on Monday, August 8, 2022. The 921 and 923 were originally suspended in September 2021, along with the 928 Southington-Cheshire-Waterbury Express (which resumed service on June 20, 2022).
923 Bristol Express will resume service on Monday, August 8, 2022. The 921 and 923 were originally suspended in September 2021, along with the 928 Southington-Cheshire-Waterbury Express (which resumed service on June 20, 2022).
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) announced that CTtransit bus route 928 Southington-Cheshire-Waterbury Express will resume service on Monday, June 20, 2022. The 928 was originally suspended in September 2021 along with two other express routes. While the 928 resumes on Monday, June 20, the 921 Middletown-Old Saybrook Express and 923 Bristol Express will resume service in August 2022.
Beginning on Sunday, November 13, 2022, during a long term construction development project, the bus stop located at Chapel Street and Orange Street eastbound in downtown New Haven for Routes 204, 206, 212, 223, & 274 will be closed. This project is anticipated to be underway until Summer 2024. Please board these routes at the following locations until the construction project is completed: 950–New Haven/Hartford Express at Elm Street & Church Street nearside
