Detour in Effect for Route 255 on Tuesday, October 7, 2025

Take Note: Valued Customers, please be advised of the following Route 255 New Haven/Ansonia/Seymour detour:
 

 No service in Shelton along Howe Ave or Bridge St.

• Outbound: From Derby Train Station, buses will proceed right onto Main Street into Derby, Right on Elizabeth Street then follow the regular route.
• Inbound: In reverse from Elizabeth Street, turning left onto Main St, left into Derby R.R., and continue back to the regular route.

• Customer can board/alight along Elizabeth Street and Derby R.R.

Route 255 will not service the following stops during this time:

• Howe Ave @Opp Maltby St

• Howe Ave @ Hill St

• Howe Ave @ Cornell St

• Bridge @ 1st

Alternate stops:

• Elizabeth @Main St

• Main St @ Derby Railroad Station
