Detours in Effect for Hartford: Eversource Hartford Marathon on Saturday, October 11, 2025

On Saturday, October 11, during the Eversource Hartford Marathon, delays and detours will disrupt most CTtransit & CTfastrak local and express bus routes from 7:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.  If you will be traveling during this event, please allow extra travel time to reach your destination.

DOWNTOWN HARTFORD

All regular downtown bus stops will be closed. The downtown bus stop for Routes 30, 31, 32, 33, 34, 37, 38, 39, 40, 42, 43, 44, 46, 47, 50, 52, 54, 55,56, 58, 59, 61, 62, 63, 64, 66, 69, 74, 76, 80, 82, 83, 84, 88, 94, 95, 96, 905 & PPB will be located on Church Street between Main and Trumbull Streets.

Routes 101, 102, 121, 125, 128, 913 & 928 will terminate at Sigourney Street Station and will not serve downtown Hartford. A Shuttle Bus will operate between Church Street and Sigourney Street Station to assist customers making connections.
 

DOWNTOWN EAST HARTFORD

There will be no local bus service to Connecticut Boulevard or Church Corner. A transfer hub will be set up on Roberts Street for Routes 82, 83, 84, 88, 94, 96 & 121. For customers traveling to downtown East Hartford, a Shuttle Bus will be provided from Roberts Street.

• Farmington Avenue east of Prospect Avenue

• Ford Street (entire length)

• Garden Street between Asylum and Myrtle

• High Street (entire length)

• Hudson Street (entire length)

• Huyshope Avenue (entire length)

• Main Street between Church and South Green

• Market Street (entire length)

• Park Street east of Sisson Avenue

• Park Terrace (entire length)

• Pearl Street (entire length)

• Sigourney Street between I-84 Ramp and Park Terrace

• Spruce Street (entire length)

• Trumbull Street between Welles and Pearl

• Union Place (entire length)

• Spruce Street (entire length)

• Washington Street between Capitol and Jefferson

• Wawarme Avenue east of Locust Street

• Welles Street (entire length)
   

In East Hartford, there will be no bus service on...

• Connecticut Boulevard (entire length)

• Main Street (north) between Park and School

• Main Street (south) between Central and Brewer

• Silver Lane between Main and Roberts
