Take Note: We Want Your Feedback on Route 909 Express Service Enhancements

Take Note: Valued Customers, we are conducting a survey, and we want your feedback on the new Route 66X!

This spring, the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTOT) announced proposed service enhancements, including the possible discontinuation of Express Route 909.

Based on feedback from Route 909 customers, CTtransit and CTDOT will combine the two morning trips and the two afternoon trips on Route 909 into one trip in each direction. This new service, known as Route 66X, will replace Route 909 beginning in late August 2025.

Route 66X will follow the same general route and make most of the same stops as Route 909. To help determine the best schedule and ensure it benefits as many existing customers as possible, we are conducting a brief survey. Your input matters!
