Take Note: Survey Results on Route 909 Express Service Enhancements

Thank you to all of our valued customers who participated in the recent survey to determine the schedule for the new 66X - Hartford/Unionville via I-84 service.  We received 24 responses to the survey. 

Based on the feedback received, the schedule will be as follows:

AM Trip

• Depart from St. Mary's Park & Ride at 6:45 AM
• Depart from Town Farm Road Park & Ride at 6:53 AM
• Arrive at Downtown Hartford Main & Asylum at 7:12 AM

PM Trip

• Depart from Downtown Hartford Main & Asylum at 4:30 PM
• Arrive at Town Farm Road Park & Ride at 4:50 PM
• Arrive at St. Mary's Park & Ride at 4:59 PM

Additional Details

• The last day for service on Route 909 will be Friday, August 22, 2025.  The first day of service on the new 66X will be Monday, August 25, 2025. 
• The 66X will make the same stops in Farmington & Unionville as Route 909. 
• In downtown Hartford, 66X buses will drop off on:
  • Spruce Street at Union Station
  • Along Church Street
  • Main & Asylum
• 66X buses will pick up at:
  • Main & Asylum
  • Asylum & Trumbull
  • Asylum & High
• The regular fare for the 66X will be $1.75.  Customers that currently use an express 10-ride ticket or 31-day pass to ride Route 909, should purchase a local 10-ride ticket or pass when your current ticket or pass expires.  Customers can also pay their fare on the 66X with a smartphone by using the Token Transit app.
