Los pasajeros de autobús expreso (rutas 901-950) que utilizan el pase mensual o de 31 días también tienen la seguridad de que llegarán a donde necesiten en caso de emergencia. Simplemente llame a la Línea directa de Viaje garantizado al 877-CT-RIDES (877-287-4337) entre las 8:00am y las 11:00pm, de lunes a viernes, el mismo día de la emergencia para programar el viaje.
Circunstancias inesperadas como una emergencia familiar, una enfermedad u horas extras no programadas le permiten acceder a un viaje garantizado; no así, si usted pierde el autobús habitual. Los viajes están disponibles de lunes a viernes entre las 9:00am y las 11:00pm, y no se ofrece el servicio los seis días feriados más importantes. Debe programar su viaje a través de la Línea directa de Viaje garantizado. No se puede programar mediante una llamada al centro de atención al cliente de CTtransit. No se le reembolsará su dinero si se comunica directamente con la empresa de taxi. El beneficio de Viaje garantizado para el pasajero solamente ofrece cobertura a las personas que adquieren el pase expreso mensual o de 31 días; los demás pasajeros del taxi deben pagar su parte del pasaje.
El beneficio de Viaje garantizado para el pasajero está disponible cuatro (4) veces al año para clientes de autobús expreso con pase válido mensual o de 31 días. Cuando llame a la Línea directa, tenga a mano los detalles de su pase expreso e indique el lugar en donde lo deben recoger.
Lo sentimos, el beneficio de Viaje garantizado no está disponible para clientes que usan boletos de 10 viajes ni para aquellos que pagan el pasaje en efectivo.
Connecticut Receives $38.9 Million Grant from Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to Upgrade CT fastrak to All-Electric Fleet

CT transit is excited to share that Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) recently announced a $38.9 million Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant to help convert our CT fastrak to an all-electric bus fleet.
“This significant investment showcases our commitment to sustainable transportation and underscores our dedication to fostering skilled professionals for the future,” said Thomas E. This significant grant, awarded through the FTA's Low or No Emission Grant Program, will facilitate the purchase or lease of zero-emission transit buses and the necessary facility upgrades.
CT transit will use these funds to acquire 46 battery-electric buses and install 29 chargers for the fastrak bus rapid transit service. The grant will also cover the cost of installing 25 depot chargers at the Hartford facility, four on-route chargers at the CT fastrak New Britain Station, and the required electrical infrastructure. This initiative is backed by over $17 million in matching state funds and $30 million from federal formula funds.
This milestone represents a monumental leap towards Governor Lamont's objective of transitioning the entire statewide public transportation bus fleet from diesel to zero-emission models by 2035. It's a testament to our collective commitment and the potential for a greener future.

Around $5.6 billion in funding has been allocated through President Joe Biden’s recently enacted Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support the replacement of thousands of public transit vehicles nationwide.
