Obtener alertas por correo electrónico
CTtransit se complace en ofrecer actualizaciones por correo electrónico concernientes al servicio de autobús que podría afectarlo. Este servicio provee a los suscriptores recibir información sobre los cambios en el servicio, reuniones importantes relacionadas con el tránsito, noticias, desvíos, desfiles, horarios de días feriados y otras comunicaciones relevantes.
Las alertas por correo electrónico no necesariamente le proporcionarán información inmediata sobre demoras de autobuses, interrupciones temporales del servicio o cancelaciones. En este momento, CTtransit no puede proporcionar detalles de última hora sobre el estado de cada autobús.
La información en tiempo real para las predicciones de salidas y llegadas de autobuses, y ubicaciones de vehículos se brinda de manera gratuita a través de sistemas de alimentación de datos con los que los desarrolladores pueden crear aplicaciones para los clientes de CTtransit. Esta información en tiempo real está disponible actualmente en "Transit", una aplicación de tráfico integral para dispositivos iOS y Android. Además, la famosa herramienta de planificación de transporte de Google está disponible en Google Transit y también a través de Google Maps. Los horarios de autobuses en Google Maps se actualizan en tiempo real. También hay herramientas de planificación de transporte similares disponibles a través de la aplicación nativa de mapas del iOS de Apple (Mapas), Bing y otros motores de búsqueda en mapas.
Para inscribirse y controlar sus alertas
Seleccione las rutas para las cuales le gustaría recibir alertas e ingrese su dirección de correo electrónico en el siguiente formulario. Las rutas de autobuses se agrupan según el área de servicio. Debido a que algunas rutas funcionan en más de un área, es probable que una ruta aparezca en la lista más de una vez; solo debe seleccionarla una vez. Si desea obtener actualizaciones de todas las rutas del sistema de CTtransit, seleccione "Sí" en "¿Enviarme todas las alertas?".

Connecticut Receives $38.9 Million Grant from Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to Upgrade CT fastrak to All-Electric Fleet

CT transit is excited to share that Governor Ned Lamont and the Connecticut Department of Transportation (CTDOT) recently announced a $38.9 million Federal Transit Administration (FTA) grant to help convert our CT fastrak to an all-electric bus fleet.

This significant grant, awarded through the FTA's Low or No Emission Grant Program, will facilitate the purchase or lease of zero-emission transit buses and the necessary facility upgrades.
CT transit will use these funds to acquire 46 battery-electric buses and install 29 chargers for the fastrak bus rapid transit service. The grant will also cover the cost of installing 25 depot chargers at the Hartford facility, four on-route chargers at the CT fastrak New Britain Station, and the required electrical infrastructure. This initiative is backed by over $17 million in matching state funds and $30 million from federal formula funds.
This milestone represents a monumental leap towards Governor Lamont's objective of transitioning the entire statewide public transportation bus fleet from diesel to zero-emission models by 2035. It's a testament to our collective commitment and the potential for a greener future.

Around $5.6 billion in funding has been allocated through President Joe Biden’s recently enacted Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to support the replacement of thousands of public transit vehicles nationwide.
